KBA appeals
The identification and delineation of KBAs presented in the World Database of Key Biodiversity Areas are open to challenge. Appeals can be submitted by anyone who believes a site does not, or no longer meets, the KBA criteria. Appeals may be made against KBAs identified and delineated when the criteria set out in the KBA Global Standard have not been applied correctly, and in accordance with the KBA Guidelines for using the Global Standard.
